There cart looks very good. The size accommodates our large microwave, leaving enough room on the side as a workspace. The only problem is the doors and drawers. There doors are slightly uneven, making the right-hand door rub on the underside of the drawer above it. And the hardware of the left drawer does not operate as smoothly as it should.Pros: Directions were easy to follow. It looks really nice and has deep drawers which is nice for storage. Everything was in the box and nothing was damaged as it was packaged very well.Cons: it’s a little wobbly, and when you move it the doors tend to fall open because the magnets aren’t very strong (and like I said it’s a bit wobbly)Also not all of the parts were labeled, so it took me a while to make sure things like the metal bars for the drawers were separated into piles so I could tell them apart then had to go into the pictures in the book and look 2-3 times to make sure I was putting the right part in the right place. I am 9 months pregnant and it took me about 2 1/2 hours to do this myself but I’m sure someone else could do it quicker LOLOverall, I am very happy with it now that it’s built and I’m getting use out of it, it’s a decent island for the price and it will do its job and it looks great in my kitchen!It took a smart 16 year old 2 hours and 20 minutes to assemble. Just what I was looking for. Very reasonably priced.Island assembly required 2 people. Went together fairly easily after getting help. Two things I dislike- the drawer pulls are so close to the island tops over hang I smash my fingers shutting the drawers or break a nail reaching for the pull. Secondly- the rolling casters are terrible! Undersized and cheap. Will be replacing.Definitely a two person assembly. Recommend use of wood glue and to put the "s" peices on the back of the drawers instead of the back of the unit (see picture). Wheels are hard to lock. Material cheap, instructions are on the different side, honestly read all the directions first and don't follow them. Put the bottom piece first. It's not going to be a unit that will last forever. Will take damage easily. Will not deal with water damage well. Overall it is what I personally needed and am happy with it. Will add the unit was dirty as if someone used it previously. Also it does come with one extra piece for everything!Nice product, functional….however I’ll be refinishing the top surface as I’m after a darker wood grain. I disagreed with the sequence of steps in the directions though, doesn’t make sense to install the wheels so early on in my opinion so I waited till the end.The product itself is very nice. Great quality wood. Love the design. I was very excited to be able to have this in my kitchen. The only part that I do NOT like is that the drawers were completely wrong. I could tell from opening the package that the drawers would not fit right and I was right. I originally thought it was me, but I reviewed the directions and the wood pieces many times. I ended up having to create my own holes just to get them CLOSE to even. They still don’t close all the way. I am upset because this is not the cheapest on the market and I do love the design and quality but very very disappointed in the assembly.The bottom of the drawers are cardboard like the back of the cabinet. For us the back is against a wall so I don't care, but the drawers are unable to hold heavy things as I fear the bottom will bow or fall out. Entire cabinet is not very stable. Buying and installing metal brackets on the back to make it more stable. Would not recommend for a free standing island. We're using ours in our laundry room to store cleaning products and putting folded clothes on top.
