The grey velvet is gorgeous! Definitely has the look, feel, and stability of a higher-priced item.Be forewarned: the bed arrived in one HEAVY box as long & wide as the headboard. The instructions were competent to a very careful reader. Be conscientious of the orientation of parts in the images/drawings. One person was able to put this together in 5 hours with a few instances of re-doing steps. Overall a beautiful addition to a bedroom plus fantastic hidden storage.This bed is good, soft and easy to move and put together. Put the sides in backwards twice, made it difficult to put the wheels on and even more time to pry the wheels off the drawers with the locking device. Took about 5 1/2 hours to assembleSuch a beautiful beige queen bed! The bed was easy to put together but the drawers were were a little confusing to put together.The headboard came damaged which was a huge negative. The damage was just on the left side and could probably be fixed but it was disappointing. It was easy to put together, however the drawers were very difficult to figure out. Once we figured the first one out, the rest were easy. It took a little over an hour to build it and we built it without any problems. This bed seems sturdy and I haven’t had any noise even when my 80 pound and 65 pound dogs roughhouse on it. Overall, I don’t regret buying it. It looks so good and I get compliments every time someone comes over to my house.
