slide:the incline is pretty steep, had to coat the end of it with pillow bc where the steep meets the ground can hurt bc how it flattens from the slope is very abrupt and my kids were coming down really fastinstructions:were at times very unclear. for instance step 1-3 were pretty basic.. then you turn the page and they crammed steps 4-9 on the same graphic. also it was difficult to figure out the orientation of the pieces of "wood" (definitely a cheap type wood reminds me of ikea quality). also sometimes there were premade holes which would help figure out the orientation of the pieces but sometimes there were no holes so you had to figure it out by trial and error.. sometimes we had to take apart pieces because we got it wrong. the bed comes in 3 separate boxes.. 3 sets of instructions. one box has the full bed, another has the twin and the last box has the stairs. so you'd assume you can just open one box at a time to complete each component - however some of the pieces of the full were in one of the other boxes. so we thought we were missing parts. we called the manufacturer and told them we were missing parts - the attitude of the person who answered had a really bad attitude. like she was doing us a favor just by answering the phone.if you decide to buy the bed, make sure you buy anti-slip tape for the stairs. so your kids are safe coming up/down stairs.
